About the Internship

Work in a Supportive, Collegial Atmosphere

We believe people learn and work best in a supportive, collegial atmosphere. To this end, we seek to provide a nurturing environment in which we expect interns to grow into confident, competent, ethical psychologists who are able to empower clients and colleagues.

Our trainees are an integral part of the staff and are treated as developing professionals who collaborate and contribute to the center. Our staff members vary in theoretical orientations, are diverse in our personal backgrounds and professional training, and work to provide a supportive and challenging environment to facilitate the most productive training year possible. All of our interns are exposed to a team that values thoughtful, ethical, culturally sensitive treatment, assessment, campus programming, and all aspects of functioning as a psychologist in a college counseling center environment.
